I know this is weird but I would sincerely hope to have someone recommend some pop pieces to be played on a portasound. I am at advanced level and I'm so used to playing on a normal piano with 88 keys. I play mostly baroque and classical pieces and rarely any pop pieces. Recently, I was asked by a relative to perform for some event and only a portasound is provided. I am so stumped. My current only idea is to play bumblebee or maybe the bumble boogie plus the "old fashion" by richard clayderman which is quite stupid i would have to say. I have my own composed version of "hips don't lie" by shakira which is quite catchy...but I think i feel very outdated and oops nerdy. Any cool dude/dudettes recommend a nice and show-offsy kind of pop piece for me to play????   :-X

Don't know... To play on a PSS, maybe movie stuff such as Beberly Hills cop theme? That's something likes to almost everyone  ;D I'm also thinking about Heart and soul, the theme from Big (1988 movie)...

P.S. I really love Casiotones and Portasounds. Brings me memories of my childhood  :D

I like those recommendations, especially 'Heart & Soul'...people love that!  I would also like to recommend something from a movie.  There's more chance of something liek that having wide appeal.  How about a John Williams medley?  Raiders March, Star Wars theme, Imperial March etc.  Ok, I suppose they're not really pop, but they are 'popular'  ;D

Good Luck!

Love Story is also good (maybe a bit corny for my taste but it likes to many people) and Anonimo Veneziano.

I would recommend Michael Nyman's compositions, like: The heart asks pleasure first, The sacrifice,   Big my secret, and a lot of over interesting pop pieces (composed by him). Take a look on YouTube. You'll find something good.
