Bartok - Musiques Nocturne...
on: July 08, 2010, 07:54:00 AM
Goodday everybody !

Funny how some peculiar attractions change regularly...  Of course, some joys never change ; Bach, Chopin...   But I remember for example being fond of Ravel like six months ago, and now, since two weeks it's always Bartok in my head (it started with the Concerto Music for Strings, piano and celesta that I was not familiar with and that of course is very impressive).  And now, again, I'm absolutely flabbergasted by the Musiques Nocturnes that Andhow04 so marvellously rendered in the 'Audition Room'.   If I have no feedback here I'll buy the book anyways ; I really would like the sheetmusic (not necessarly for the whole set) - just the piece that Andhow04 played under the name "Musiques Nocturnes".   I had a look at IMSL but have no printer available, that's a first problem.   But again, the copyright is so different from this part of the world to another that I think it's ridiculous.  (don't understand me wrong, I'm not against (not yet ?) the principle of 'copyright' but in this era of world-wide-webbing, it should be regulated universally).  And I'm apparently not allowed to download the file here in Belgium.   A Canadian can.  Would it be unfashionable to ask the score here ?
Kind greetings to you all.
