Debussy

I find myself increasingly drawn to the music of Debussy. Can correspondents to Pianostreet recommend books that analyse/explain his piano music. The books would need to be in English!
Many thanks.

An excellent and thorough book is "Images: The Piano Music of Debussy" by English pianist Paul Roberts.

There is a book by Leon Vallas titled " The Theories Of Claude Debussy Musicien Francais" which is an explanation of Debussy's writtings; covering subjects over performance, Wagner, foreign music, etc.. There is also a collection of Debussy's letters edited by Francois Lesure amd Roger Nichols. I found both of these on amazon.
