A beginner who could need some help.

Hi everyone, I am pleased to have found this site dedicated to what I love: playing piano! I have played piano for some years but I have never had a teacher (except during my childhood and he almost scared me away from the piano) soo I canīt read piano-sheets. I have learned a couple of song by watching people play them or at tutorials (which shows me how to play them)

But I have seen that many songs that I like can only be learned by reading piano-sheets, and soo hre is my question:

How do I read piano-sheets  ;D?

I am a 19 year old Swedish guy who need some help from real pianists, I would be really grateful if you could do this for me =)

Hello and welcome!

You will be able to find basic theory books for piano at your local music store.  Ask the salesperson for books on how to play the piano.  It should include a picture of a keyboard with the notes that correspond to each key.  That will get you started quickly.

Each note corresponds to a key on the piano.  When you see a note, depress the key.  It's simple but you have to know which one to press.
