So as a result of Bob's post, I've had a brilliant idea for a new way to charge for online music that would better reimburse content providers, in a way that doesn't massively favour big names, while giving purchasers some additional incentive to get on and buy stuff and then recommend it to their friends. Trouble is, I've about as much business sense as a horsefly so I haven't the faintest idea how to go about doing anything with the idea. Budding business whizz pianists are invited to PM me!

I couldn't quite figure out that chart.  I didn't want to spend a lot of time studying it either.  Whether it was just pop music or what...

I'm sure those musicians earn more money from ticket sales and merchandise too.
