I have asked the question but not received a reply.

Not all collectors wish to widely disperse their work, which is often obtained at great expense and some difficulty.

I am sure that would not make any difference.

As I said, some collectors restrict the circulation of their scans (as I do) for various reasons. Money does not come into the equation.
