Double jointed pinky's

Hi! I have a new student who has double jointed pinky's and is experiencing some pain when playing. Any suggestions on hand position or exercises to help with this problem??? Thanks!

Just out of curiousity, how many students with single-jointed-pinky's do you have? You happen to teach in Tsjernobyl?
