Is it possible to have musical talent such as this?

Did you ever see the movie August Rush? -- I may sound quite ignorant, but do you believe it is possible to be as gifted as the boy in the movie? He's an orphan that hears music in his head all the time, like an orchestra playing in his head. He gets on the guitar for the very first time in his life and plays this:

<<< Soon, he discovers the piano in a church with a little girl playing scales, and the first time ever seeing sheet music in his entire life. The little girl shows him the notes, and a little baby book explaining a few notes. He looks at it for 30 seconds, and he starts writing a score for an orchestra. He is discovered as a musical prodigy and is enrolled in classes at Juilliard. I am assuming yes, because look at an article about this child, "Jay Greenberg" https://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/11/24/60minutes/main657713.shtml <<< Perhaps, maybe it is, to an extent. Do you think that Jay Greenberg has anything in common with August Rush? I just want to know if it is possible for a child to have such extreme talent, like the boy in August Rush. I know I sound silly. I just want to hear some opinions.

I think that scene was sort of silly and far-fetched and had nothing to do with the talent of that Rush boy.

I think August Rush is a bit overdone, to be honest.. I've seen the movie myself and it didn't really get to me, cause it just doesn't make sense.
But the Jay Greenberg story.. I've never heard of that guy, but he sure has talent!
To answer your question;
I do think they excist. I mean, why wouldn't they excist if a hundred years ago there were so many?!
I think there are more prodigies than this kid, they just haven't been discovered yet.
