HELP - Sonata Appasionata problem with Sheet
on: August 12, 2010, 04:11:26 PM
Hello. I downloaded Sonata Appasionata Sheet but recordings on Youtube or when I play 1st Movement looks totally different. 1st and 2nd Page are the same Sheet like recordings on Youtube, but 3.rd Page is totally different and after.
In recordings it has about 3 Tremolos and in Sheet does not have. ( 3rd Page)

My 3rd Page look like in this Sheet. Does 2 Versions of Sonata Appasionata exists, because I am totally confused, why Recordings on Youtube are different of these Sheet.

Can you give bar references?

Exactly which downloaded Appasionata sheet are you referring to?  One of those on Pianostreet?
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

There are no tremolos in the Appassionata. It may sometimes sound like that but there aren't any. It's a very fast 12/8 time counted in 4 beats, so you might have heard the sixteenths as tremolos (first mvt.)

Take Your Seat! Trifonov Plays Brahms in Berlin

“He has everything and more – tenderness and also the demonic element. I never heard anything like that,” as Martha Argerich once said of Daniil Trifonov. To celebrate the end of the year, the star pianist performs Johannes Brahms’s monumental Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Philharmoniker and Kirill Petrenko on December 31. Piano Street’s members are invited to watch the livestream. Read more
