1. turina's clowns and trapecios volentes from el circo (dedicated to pianistimo)
2. mompou's jeunes felles au jardin from scenes d'enfants (dedicated to thalbergmad)

Sounds beautiful.  It's gonna be a CD with a "theme" I presume.  Do you already have a title for the CD.   What are the other tracks ? Did you say CD's ? Are you producing more than one CD at the time ? I like CD's with a theme, it's definitely a CD that I would pick up when I see it, look at it, try to get to the booklet, eventually buy it.
I wish you a lot of succes with it.

thank you, alessandro. indeed, the theme is "scenes of childhood", which comprises mompou's scenes d'enfants, debussy's children's corner, schumann's kinderzenen and turina's el circo. yes, 3 cd's this year, the other 2 cd's are burgmuller op. 100 and op.109, brought to the world in the spirit of piano pedagogy. btw, talking about pedagogy, next year i will record all clementi's, kuhlau's and beethoven's piano sonatinas and "favorite classical pieces"  ;D

Thank you for introducing me to this charming music. I had not heard these composers before but now I shall pursue them. As Henri Sauget said, there is such a thing as serious happiness, and I think this music embodies it. Your technique is admirably suited to the idiom - lively, yet also, in a strange way, profound - in much the same way as Satie can be profound. It also cautions me that, contrary to fashion, it is unnecessary to play hundreds of notes at ninety miles an hour to make a pianistic impression - something I would no doubt do well to remember in my own improvisation.

thank you for your kind words, ted. yes, indeed it is music that we care about, not mere notes and speed. when one is honest and truthful enough to humble oneself in order to find the epicentrum of music, one is to step into the magical quality of it - full of unspoken, timeless, therapeutic, and divine characteristics. all things dematerialized, whereas the sound of humanity and the tonality of its virtue rise sublimely. warmest regards, teguh
