Chamber Ensemble Audition
on: August 22, 2010, 05:21:13 PM
I was planning on auditioning for Chamber Ensemble Class at my university and I was wondering what pieces are usually suitable for it?

Audition is about in 3 weeks, but I am not sure what to prepare.

any suggestions?

For what instrument combinations?
How long for the audition?
or how many pieces?
What level roughly?
Never look at the trombones. You'll only encourage them.

We audition individually, and then they form us into groups.
I would like to be with a  string ensemle.
I am not sure of difficulty but i am competing with university grad students.
