Chopin

So, I haven't had a lesson in some weeks, because I've been moving. (starting first year of bachelor in Aarhus).

I've already met the teacher, and I know I made a good impression. But I don't want to come to the first lesson with pieces, played like sh*t.

So here are a few pieces I've been playing for like 1½ week.

Well they both need alot of work, but that's what you'll have a teacher for. And since you said you play them only shortly, commenting is abit pointless too ;)

Well, I have you to prepare me for the teacher.. Duh? ;P

And why is commenting pointless? No teacher would say "Nah, you've only played them for a short time so I wont help you"

Having had a quick listen to part of the waltz, I'll say work on the LH!  It carries most of the character of the piece and needs to be precise.  (I wish it were as easy as it looks!).  That said about how important it is, it needs to be kept as an accompaniment so check balance too.
Never look at the trombones. You'll only encourage them.
