“Play Me, I’m Yours” - Street Pianos
on: September 03, 2010, 12:17:55 PM
Hi everyone,

I just noticed “Play Me, I’m Yours” - Street Pianos on PianoStreet.com and just thought I'd tell you that we had one in our local area but it was rendered unplayable after only a couple of days.

The first day a few kids were playing, quite good too and a few adults here and there. Then the next day it was covered in stickers, the stool was gone (I think it was chained to the ground or something but I cannot remember). Then a couple of days later the top was ripped off (nowhere to be seen) and someone had water logged it.

Made my kind of sad actually.

Энтони.

Yes that is very sad. But it's just coherent. People think that a piano is something you can use as a piece of furniture, they put flower pots and busts and all kind of metallic objects on it, they think everybody can play (aka bang) it and make a lot of noise...what they do to pianos inside the houses isn't actually so much better...
