Hello,
I thought I would introduce myself. I am a piano teacher in a sparsely populated part of the country. We don't have any teacher's organizations so I joined on hear to have someplace to ask advice. I also teach violin but the majority of my students are piano, since it is usually more popular and since our school systems do not have any string program. I have been teaching for about 16 years. I was raised with Suzuki but also took traditional as a got older. I use mostly traditional, with a blend of ear training as well as singing (influenced by the Kodaly method). I am looking forward to learning new things. Thanks.
