Digital piano hookup notation software...

Hi Friends,

Is there any music notation software that I can hook-up to my Yamaha P85 digital piano? I want to be able to play the piano and have those notes immediately appear on a digital computer score. Is that even possible? (It is just so TEDIOUS to have to write out every note by hand!)

Also, does anyone know what kind of cord I would need.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Additionally, I am also seeking software that would allow me to record music from my digital piano to my computer that I could then burn to CDs.

Cakewalk is pretty simple to use. Nowadays midi connections are done through USB rather than the Midi-in-out plugs.
