Happy International Music Day - October 1st

Here in Europe today October 1st is International Music Day, but I don't know if the rest of the world celebrates today. Anyway, it's something worth celebrating, so Happy International Music Day to you all!!!

I'm starting to worry   Maybe I am mistaken that this holiday is international...   I've been taught that October 1st is INTERNATIONAL Music Day, but maybe it's not right after all   I live in Bulgaria and almost all my friends are musicians, since I'm one   and we've been talking about this all day so I'm sure I'm not mistaken the date...

You're right, I googled it.  But I think it's the first one.  The international music council, whatever that is, programmed it in May for October 1st.  well, happy music day.  Sounds better than Happy D-Day or happy memorial day.

I googled it too  And Wikipedia says that UNESCO has made this holiday in 1974, but unfortunately the article is in Bulgarian, so there is no point showing it here  In the end, Happy Music Day (really)
