Anton Webern Rondo (1906)

One of the few absolute romantic and little known pieces of Anton Webern.
There is so much pure singing melody you probably never would expected from a Schoenberg-Pupil.
I have programmed the recording with pianosamples and hope I managed to give it the very late romatic enthousiasm it needs.

But oh how you can tell where he was headed!  Interesting.  Not quite something I would put time and effort into to learn, but interesting to listen to.

Of course this piece is interesting. I know the Berg Sonata op.1 is much more popular, and I dont want to put both on the same musical level. But it is a quite similar and interesting way to think which characterizes this piece, and therefor it is in my opinion much to unknown than it might deserve. It was a pretty good subject for my experiments therefor, since I had no other chance to get a resonable realisation of this music if I didn t do by my own.
