How hard is it to get a diploma in piano(ABRSM)

Hi there i was just wondering that if you could tell me how hard it would be and how long it would take to get a diploma in piano , ABRSM.

I'd also be interested to hear people's experience of working towards ABRSM Diploma.
I think you'll find one can start as many threads as they like on a Forum, even if the subject may not be of interest to everyone.

No... that's not the point. He started a thread asking this exact same question then a day later started this thread in which the question was exactly the same.

I would say that it is quite difficult. The standard is way beyond Grade 8 and you have to perform at the level of someone who is studying at a conservatory who will be doing lots of practice.The DipABRSM equates to first year university standard and the LRSM equates to final year university standard. It will take years of practice after Grade 8 and you will need to find an experienced teacher.
