Hello
Very different pieces, but in the final analysis which is more difficult?
Explain your reasons please.

The masterpiece tell the performer what to do, and not the performer telling the piece what it should be like, or the cocomposer what he ought to have composed.

I did a boo-boo. I misread the question. I thought it was ALL of op 79 as opposed to ALL of 118. So I answered op. 118. But, actually, reconsidering the question, maybe I'll stay with what I thought. Technically, I suppose, they're both relatively easy. But the intermezzo is SOOOO intricate - poliphony, thick chords, big stretches of the hand, etc. I'd ask "which of these is more beautiful?"
Op. 118, no. 2, naturally.
