Hi. My name's Kevin and I've played piano for 10 years so far. I have passed through level 10 in CM and have done 1 piano competition. I was hoping to maybe get some suggestions for piano pieces because frequently I can't find what I'm searching for. What I like are some pieces that sound like Danse Macabre, but perhaps a bit less well known (otherwise, it is not unique and I can't explore my technique/style as fully as I may desire to). Anyway, I appreciate any feedback people could give me!

This is a very vague request. I think to get feedback you're going to have to give more input...

So is it the minor key and the increasingly frantic pace that you like about the Danse Macabre? You might check into Dvorak's Slavonic Dances, Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsodies, or Brahms's Hungarian Dances. Also Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition. I dunno if that's too common for you though.

Why do you keep resurrecting old threads written by people who probably aren't even members any more? Seriously; just stop.

If this work is so threatening, it is not because it's simply strange, but competent, rigorously argued and carrying conviction.
