And just now is the first time I listen to these recordings. It is closely mic-ed on the Yamaha grand on stage in the auditorium. The piano unfortunately has problems with it's sostenuto pedal, which will perform its due function of catching the held notes, but for some reason the bass dampers stick after the keys are struck...You can hear this at the end of the first. (And it needs to be restrung or replaced
)
Anyway...THIS IS COOL!
