Music notation software for mac

Hello,

I'm looking for software for my MAC, to create music sheets. I prefer one where you can play the notes with a midi keyboard instead of writing it with 'hand'.

I hope someone can help me.

I recommend you check out MuseScore:

www.musescore.org

It's freeware, and MIDI input is supported.

I'm not a Mac user, but I've found MuseScore to be intuitive and surprisingly powerful.

Well I must say that writing the notes is very difficult in Musescore. I can't figure out how to change notes or move notes. The tutorial only talks about CTRL+Z to undo your latest action. Is there a way to change a note in say the beginning of the song? Or to place a rest in front of an allready written part, without having to rewrite the whole score again?

Finale or Sibelius are widely used.  Because of this, there is a lot of user support and help.  However, both are expensive.
