VIDEO: The four Chopin Ballades played by Miena Sanada

Hi!

Miena Sanada is a masterclass student of Adolfo Barabino and has done her first recital of the four ballades and Scherzi on an 1895 Bechstein in Unequal Temperament at Emerson College in Sussex UK. Unfortunately the piano was not as well behaved as it had been in the summer . . .

Hi!

I didn't like the sound of the piano so Miena recorded the ballades and scherzos on an instrument with rock solid tuning - search Chopin Ballades Unequal Temperament on YouTube and you'll find them

I hadn't time to watch the complete four ballades but I liked what I listened.
