Grade 8 aural
on: November 24, 2010, 06:53:41 PM
I'm really having trouble identifying modulations. Can anyone give me any tips to tell where it modulated? I'm not good at counting steps.
Also, in the cadences, where you have to name chords. What are some common progressions for each cadence and how does each one sound? (ex. 1c, 2b, 6a, etc.)
Do you have to name a, b, and c after each number?
Also, how fast do you play the scales that are one third and one sixth apart in similar motion? 66BPM?
Thanks.
