VIDEO: Carol of the Bells (Arranged by: Mark H.)
on: November 27, 2010, 06:25:12 AM
Hello there, Piano Street Community! You may refer to me as Darc. The piano I use is a Wurlitzer, fairly old... and my camera isn't that great (Just a 12 megapixel Kodak digital camera). I've been taking lessons since December of '08, and I am 15 years old. :D
Here, I just learned an arrangement of Carol of the Bells... unfortunately, the sheet music I'm reading from is a copy from my instructor's book, and the name of the arranger got cut off, so all I can give you is Mark H.

Here is the video. Anything you should need to know is in the description of the video. Enjoy.

(This is my first post in these forums ._. If I did anything wrong, please let me know and I'll amend as soon as possible.)

Very nice.  I know that motif from somewhere but can't place it.

Birba, it's very famous Christmas song after some Ukrainian tune. It's used in... Well, it's used almost everywhere - movies, commercials, like in Home Alone for example :)

Yeah, I remember playing this for trumpet in band once, and it was entitled "Ukranian Bell Carol." It is a very well-known Christmas song, though.
