Yamaha P95 Or Korg Sp170 Or ????
on: November 29, 2010, 10:45:55 AM
Hello Pianophiles!
I have been thinking of getting a digital piano for my 5 year old daughter and myself. Currently I have an old Yamaha PSR something or rather that is really not up to scratch (no weighting, only 9 key polyphony!!!) and an acoustic which I am currently working on to get up to scratch.
I have been looking at the Yamaha P95 and the Korg Sp170 as suitable candidates. I have read here that a few like the P85, so I can only assume that the P95 will be of the same ilk?
As for the SP170, I have found very little on that one. Has anyone played one? Will such a keyboard be substantial enough to last a few years?
Also, is there other brands that I should look at in a similar price range.
Cheers and thanks
