PIano pieces by level???
on: November 30, 2010, 11:59:44 PM
hi guys...
I tried many times to find a privet tutor to give me piano lessons but still ......
anyways
i know that piano pieces are by level from 1 to 10 or that's what i found out i don't even know if that's right
if that's right could anyone give me examples like 10 pieces or so for each level
i can read sheet music by self study so i think i'll manage
if anyone could that would be a great help

and if anyone knows about a course by the name The Classic Piano Course for carol barratt
and know if it is anygood and a place i could download from that would be great too
thanks for your help :)
hope for some advices :)

I have no idea where this list came from originally (or whether the ranking system used is consistent and meaningful), but you might find it to be of some benefit.

You're very welcome.  I'm glad I could help.  :)

I also have the identical (or nearly identical) listing sorted by composer, so I'll post that one as well.  (It looks like this was originally done as an Excel spreadsheet, though I haven't come across it in that form.)

Thanks again.  I wish I knew who to credit for putting the database together.

I believe that list comes from Bernhard, who used to post here a lot. I think he compiled it himself.

Yeah, what happened to Bernhard?  I haven't seen him post anything lately.

He's well missed....sigh I wonder what new knowledge he could offer us now. If it wasn't for his posts, I wouldn't be where I am pianistically right now. Btw, THANKS for the awesome level chart!  ;D
