I would say it screws up your nervous system.

I haven't felt one yet that was perfect.  I'm still surprised by that.  So many keyboard have a rubbery feel to me on the keyboard bed.  They usually don't take the same weight to press down.  When they do have a comparable weight it still doesn't have the feeling of length that even an upright has.  And they have that plastic feel instead of wood.  I wish someone would just take an acoustic keyboard "guts" out and stick it in a keyboard.

I appreciate the replies but I tried a Yamaha CP5 stage keyboard that blew me away. Before I tried one I had my doubts too. I'm not trying to push the Yamaha but I'm just expressing my vote.

I`ve a very good Roland but itsnt like my grand. Digitals are making good progress but ... they may be good for study, not to perform. Yet. ::)

I find it the other way round.  What do you spend most time doing?  The amount of concert time you take part in makes DP use then quite negligible.
