Alexina Louie- scenes from a jade terrace
on: December 14, 2010, 10:30:04 PM
Hey everyone,  I was just assigned this piece for my junior recital, but I can't seem to find a score anywhere!  Does anyone know anything about how to order the piece?

Thanks for your help!

I suspect you are probably a Canadian, since her music isn't really played anywhere else. Try the Canadian Music Centre, which has pretty much anything Canadian.

They're really good for lending scores.  I borrowed a copy of some stuff by Ann Southam, got there in just over a week, no issues with sending it back.  I highly suggest this site (you also don't feel terrible by finding an illegal copy of something from your home country  ;) )

It also has some very hard to find recordings of a ton of pieces.  I think you need to make an account, but don't have to give any super personal info (credit card, etc.)
