is ther any magic trick ?
on: December 21, 2010, 12:59:50 PM
hi
when i was a kid i was going to gym. I could not do one motion after 1 year of practice .one day suddenly i found that this motion should be started with my left hand not right hand . this simple trick helped me to do that very easily. I think that is there any similar magic trick (other than practice ) to play piano beautifully ?( eg: hand postion , finger motion ,etc)
thanks

I think it's just a matter of experimenting with fingerings? The most comfortable fingering might seem ok when slow, but when played fast, it seems impossible, but when using an awkward fingering, it becomes easier to play fast. So instead of constantly practicing passage with a fingering you think will work, try other fingerings
