What is the A level for music?

Hi there I was just wondering What is the A level for music? How old must you be? Any requirements? What do you do? What is it

Its quite hard to answer this question. I must assume that you are not familiar with the English Education system, and so I will answer on that presumption.
The A or Advanced level in music is designed for those students who wish to study for a first degree in music. There are several components to the examination that can include composition, performance, musicology and exegesis, and music theory. The level would be in the range of around 5 to 8 of the ARB standard, perhaps.
Is there an age limit - technically no, you can take the exam at any age. The exam will consist of coursework and a number of written examination questions.
