First of all aplogies if this is in the wrong place, but I heard it in a TV show and it is just utterly beautiful. The actor doesn't play piano so I assume its a piece by someone, was wondering if any of you knew it.

This will almost certainly be an original cue written for the show.  The cue writers for that show are:

Lee Aronsohn
Grant Geissman
Dennis Brown
Chuck Lorre
Donald Foster
Edward Fleming

It could be any one, or combination of, those people.

Happy New Year!

Actually it's a piece for piano, not a song for voice.
Interpreting music means exploring the promise of the potential of possibilities.
