Nothing Else Matters
on: December 26, 2010, 07:28:44 PM
Hi,
Has anyone learnt playing "Nothing Else Matters" as arranged by Scott D. Davis? It seems there are two variants, one with one F sharp and the second with 5 flats (sorry if I didn't use correctly the terminology). I refer to the first, more accessible for me at the level I am right now.
The ballad in original is great but it sounds wonderful at the piano in this arrangement.
You can listen here:

So I am asking you (as my piano teacher is on holiday): what do you think? After two years of piano, is it a "bite" too big for me?
Thank you!

Actually James Hetfield of the band Metallica wrote this song. I see no problem or difficulty with this in F sharp. That's the key I play it in.
Good luck with it...
