Schubert String Quartets/Quintet - piano reduction?
on: December 31, 2010, 05:23:37 PM
Hello!

I wonder if by any chance any of you have any piano reduction for any of Schubert's string quartets or the D956 quintet? (the quintet, the Rosamunde, and the Death and the Maiden are really high on the list in particular) Or perhaps if you know anyone or any publisher that has done so?

I will forever be truly most indebted.

The quintet D956 (op.163) has been done as well as a couple of quartets.

The vast majority of others that have been digitalised are for 4 hands.

Caprotti from Pianophilia might release some of his scans if you request them.

Thal,

That's just amazing. You're just amazing! What DON'T you have?

Thank you, thank you! They are really tricky on the piano, but you surely cannot fathom the joy that overwhelms me these days! If ever I am in your country, I surely will have to...ah, we'll see!
