A Jazz Piano Christmas 2025 – But not at the Kennedy Center

For more than three decades, “A Jazz Piano Christmas” at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. has been a quiet highlight of the holiday season for jazz and piano lovers. No fixed formulas, no “seasonal jazz” clichés — just strong pianistic voices working with familiar material. This year, the live concert is on pause. Here’s what changed, and where pianists can still turn for meaningful jazz piano Christmas listening and playing. Read more

Hi, everyone.
Firstly, i'd like to appreciate the advice -filled comments posted by many on PianoStreet's forum, I'm new too. I've been learning the Piano autodidact for some months now as I will not need a teacher(not another heavy charges for a second instrument.) I equaly have the seemingly generic chalenge for many musicians, sight reading which is more difficult for the piano than it is for violin, my first(not that this too is quite simple.) The trouble is, not recieving any tutor's instruction I wonder how genuin my playing will be and the technicalities I wil fail to register to be an accomplished pianist. I wil apprieciate some basic advise.

This forum wil be a great avenue for me to learn from you all, Piano People.
