KLEINJASPER (J.F.) Paris 1851 - Our Official Catalogue of the Great Exhibition shows that J.F.
Kleinjasper, 296 Rue St. Honor, Paris, exhibited a cottage piano at the Great Exhibition, catalogue number 1633.

Napoleon III Style Upright piano made by Kleinjasper Paris serial number 1755 circa 1851.

Bronzes with Mercure (gold plating) with a black lacquered case. Name plate showing the Makers name in Brass inlay, having pieces of Mother of Pearl with Tortoise shell. The inside Mechanics are like new and in working state. 7 octaves from C to C, unusual for this period. Two Pedals Moderator and Forte.

This upright piano is a great example of this. J.F. Kleinjasper was a known piano builder during his time...
