Any info on Ritter upright piano from pre ww2?
on: January 14, 2011, 01:05:56 PM
Hi everyone!

I'm lucky to get my grandmother's old piano, and now I'm trying to find as much information about it as possible, but the www has not much to offer me. So I thought anyone on this forum might have some information for me :)

The piano is a Ritter upright. It was bought in 1939, but I'm not sure if it was produced that year. It har shiny black finish, and is in a remarkable good shape. It has a lamp, but not sure if that's original, but two candle holders I'm sure are. I haven't moved it to my house yet, so that's pretty much the info I have right now, not much to go on...

Does anyone know anything about this type of piano? Just a nerd wanting to know all there is about it  :)

If you think it's is expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur.
