Hello ruks
This is a surprising question from someone preparing for LTCL; I would think the wisest strategy would be to do whatever you have been doing already but do a little more of it.
I am working towards Ltcl and my teacher urges me to do Dohnanyi exercises 9-13 but I find them very difficult to do. There are those who maintain that you don't need to do specific exercises but to pick out tricky passages from your pieces of music and make an exercise out of them.
How much practice? How long is a piece of string? Probably about 5-6 hours per week as long as it is mindful, concentrated practice.
