I found out yesterday that in April, I'll be playing in Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall as part of the Young Musicians Concert hosted by the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Ten groups are chosen in the tri-state area by sending in recordings, and I hear it's very competitive getting in. I'll be playing Beethoven's Piano Trio Op. 11 Mvt 1. I'm just so excited to play in a place as cool as Lincoln Center, nonetheless in the new Alice Tully Hall. I went to my friend's pre-college Julliard concert there and they played Roman Carnival Overture by Berlioz, Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2, and Scheherezade by Rimsky-Korsakov. The acoustics are absolutely amazing and I'm just so stoked to play there. PLUS we get two coaching sessions from musicians from the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. I thought we had no chance of getting in, so sorry if I sound like I'm bragging. I'm just really excited for this opportunity I never thought I'd have.
AHHHHHH I WANNA SCREAMMMMMMMMMMMMM
