This is still partially on topic...

Is it strange that I just haven't heard any Mahler works for piano??? Did he write piano compositions, or have I been living under a rock for a while?

My knowledge of repetoire is not yet broad enough to fill in many of these composers (although it is very broad with a few specific ones) but I will give it a shot.

J. S. Bach: P+F BWV 849
G. F. Händel: -
A. Vivaldi: -
W. A. Mozart: Sonata K545
J. Haydn: Symphony no 49,
L. van Beethoven: Sonata Op 57.
F. Mendelssohn: Piano Concerto 1
F. Schubert: Sonata D.960
R. Schumann: Traumerei
F. Chopin: Ballade 4, Nocturne Op 48 no 1, Piano Concerto 1, Scherzo 3
F. Liszt: Sonata B Minor, Faust Symphony.
J. Brahms: 3rd Piano Sonata (F Minor)
E. Grieg: Piano Concerto
P. I. Thaikovsky: 1st Piano concerto
S. Rachmaninoff: 3rd piano concerto (my favourite piano concerto...I like it better than the second :o)
G. Mahler: -
C. Debussy: Clair de Lune (don't flame me :p It may be overplayed but it's beauty is rarely matched).
M. Ravel: Piano Concerto G Major
D. Shostakovich: -
S. Prokofiev: 7th Sonata
B. Bartók: Allegro Barbaro

I MUST ANSWER

Bach: Right now I'm leaning towards my Partita, no. 1 in Bb major
Handel-... I'll come back to that once I listen to more of his music
Vivaldi-Op. 3/10 in B minor, much better than any of the 4 seasons in my opinion. Op.4>Op.3>Op.8
Mozart-my god I love that 2 piano sonata in D major
Haydn-haven't liked much by him, but I'll go with the C major Cello concerto
Beethoven-Either Op.78, Concerto no. 1, violin concerto, or Concerto no. 4
Mendelssohn-Italian Symphony?
Schubert-Wanderer Fantasie (though I haven't listened to much else Schubert)
Schumann-Carnaval, Piano concerto, Traumerei (even if it is overplayed), FANTASIE
Chopin-Baracarolle, Ballade 3, 4, Cello Sonata, Ballade 4, though I love most of what he wrote
Liszt- Jeux D'eau, more people should play it... surprisingly underplayed
Brahms-2nd piano concerto? Piano quartet in I think Bbm, that Rondo all Zingarese
Grieg-I don't really like Grieg, but his Wedding at Troldhaugen and String quartet in Gm are okay
Tchaikovsky- Violin concerto, ballet music, I am slowly liking Tchaikovsky less and less for some reason..
Rachmaninoff- 2nd piano sonata, Piano concerto 3, Moment Musicaux 6, Symphony 2, 3, the other 3 piano concertos,
Mahler- i've only heard symphony 1, so I'll have to go with that
Shostakovich-I'm not big on him, but there was a toy suite or something that I liked
Debussy- ah I love Debussy (clair de lune being probably the least of his works) La mer, Poisson D'or, L'isle Joyeuse, and Des collines d"ancapri top my list
Ravel- MY FAVORITE COMPOSER Gaspard, Valses N&S, La Valse, Jeux D'eau, Miroirs, Concertos, sonatas, chamber works, Rhapsodie espagnol, you name it. I love it all. Everyone should check out Introduction and Allegro, it was apparently Stravinsky's favorite piece by Ravel
Prokofiev- 2nd piano concerto is mindblowing, 3rd is pretty awesome too. 3rd sonata is nice
Bartok: really I've only heard Allegro Barbaro...
Scriabin: Sonata 5, pretty epic stuff
Stravinsky: Firebird! btw, Prok didn't write Rite of Spring, whoever said that.. Stravinsky did.
Barber: gotta have Barber. Violin concerto, Galop from Souvenirs
Sibelius: haven't heard much by him, but that violin concerto is absolutely friggin amazing.
Sorabji: Gulistan is worth giving a listen. Though Sorabji's complexity gives me headaches.. a friend says "i though i heard color with Ravel. Then I heard Sorabji"
Albeniz: Eritana from Iberia, absolutely great stuff
Granados: probably Los Requiebros from Goyescas

Ravel Jeux D'eau
Brahms 118/2
Liszt Concerto 1
Rachmaninoff/Kreisler Liebesleid

I will stick with keyboard works, and thus I am omitting a few composers.  not necessarily what I consider to be the composers' best works; just ones that I enjoy playing and/or listening to the most.

J. S. Bach: Chromatic Fantasy et Fugue
G. F. Händel: Suite No. 3
W. A. Mozart: Sonata K. 280
J. Haydn: Sonata No. 33
L. van Beethoven: 32 Variations in C Minor
F. Schubert: Sonata D. 958
C. Saint-Saëns: Piano Concerto No. 2
R. Schumann:  Don't much like Schumann, but if I had to pick, probably Op. 12
F. Chopin: Fantasy Op. 49
F. Liszt: Ballade No. 2, S. 171
J. Brahms: Again, not much of a fan, but probably Op. 76 or Op. 116
S. Rachmaninoff: It'd be a random selection of preludes and etudes.
C. Debussy: Images II
M. Ravel: Gaspard de la Nuit, of course
S. Prokofiev: Hardest one for me.  Toccata, Sonatas 2/4/7/8, Concerti 2/5.  Can't choose.
B. Bartók: Also hard.  Etudes or 'Out of Doors' Suite.

Two who should probably be included:
Scriabin: Sonata No. 6
Scarlatti: K. 417
