Can I Borrow Someone's Ear?

I have been trying for a long time to get this piece down by ear with a little help and did much better than I thought I would. However, there are two parts with the left hand where the notes are too muddy or fast for me to get. I was just wondering if someone could help me out with this.
The first part I can't hear starts at 1:30 and just repeats over and over, I know the overall chords are just CDEm over and over but the person playing it does it in a really nice way that I am trying to get down. It is just too fast for me and the right hand notes make it harder for me to hear.
The second part I'm looking for is just a very short descending section. I think it is played over the Em in the chords that were played before. The descending part starts at 2:00 and is very short.
