Fugue in G minor, BWV 1026 (brass arrangement)
on: February 21, 2011, 10:09:59 AM
Hi dudes,

I have newfound addiction to the Fugue in G minor BWV 1026 for violin & continuo. It may not even be genuine Bach (spurious) but it's hella cool. I gave shot at making an arrangement for brass quartet. Please take a listen and let me know what you think!

I thoroughly enjoyed it!  Now to hear a REAL brass quartet.
What's so wonderful about Bach is you can arrange it for ANY instrument - just look at the art of the fugue - and it's always engaging and enjoyable!  But this brass rendition is particularly successful.

Thanks for listening guys - I'm glad you enjoyed it  ;D

Ditto about Bach music - in fact I have a CD of the Art of Fugue on brass ensemble that's really awesome.
