on: August 07, 2004, 06:37:40 PM
beethoven: 'Pathetique'
bach: preludium and fuga in E-major
brahms: 3 intermezzo op.117
rachmaninoff: etude op.33 n.7
debussy: jardins sous la pluie
chopin: etude op.10 n.1
                      op.25 n.1
mozart: variations 'marche des mariages samnites

has anybody played these works? can you tell me how to practise them? i'm 15 and i have big problems with chopin etude op.10. n.1  i cant get fast, i can play it on methronome on 100 (on 100 is clear and with all dinamics, but it must be on 176!!!) ::)

also, how many hours i need daily to practise all that pieces, because i'm going to take part in competition EPTA in january 2005?

thanx

[sigh] Why don't you do some reading? There's a lot posted on this forum about those pieces.
Come back with more specific questions.
