Blind Path
on: March 01, 2011, 03:01:48 PM
This was a kind of experimental improvisation. It's awfully repetitive, and it always makes me bored at the end, but here it is anyway.
Actually I don't even know why I'm posting it. Probably because I'm going with the flow, as there are tons of new improvs posted every day (compared to a few weeks ago) and I want to join in the fun.

I like the more uplifting mood you're exploring in this piece. And, the interplay between your hands is interesting. I thought you had a nice balance between upwards and downwards melodic movement. You really oughta start exploring some new scales and chords, I think you'd have fun with it.
That is to say, you're already adventurous with harmony in your other pieces, but I think if you learned more of those shapes it'd give you more control, more power. Good luck!

Was a really good attempt, could have been more smooth and try playing with different tempos and timing! but otherwise was very nice to listen too, uplifting and colourful
