Next step?
on: March 10, 2011, 07:50:14 PM
Hi there, fellow students!

Now, being half way through the second mvt og Pathetique, and finish with 6 other pieces, including Träumerei, von fremden ländern und menschen and Moonlight mvt 1. I'd like a suggest for a new piece, perhaps the Bach inventions. But what do you suggest apart from that? A Chopin or a schumann piece would be wondreful!

Cheers, students.

Hi. :)
 How about a Chopin nocturne?
The one in C-sharp minor is my favorite. Technically its not too challenging, but there's a lot to do with interpretation.
The nocturned in E-flat major and E minor are great also.
Currently:
Chopin Grand Valse Brilliante
Mozart Piano Sonata K 332
Scriabin Preludes Op 11 no.5,6,7
Bach Prelude and Fugue in G minor

Well only you or your teacher can decide that I guess.
The rating system is not always the reliable way to judge whether or not you can play a piece.
Currently:
Chopin Grand Valse Brilliante
Mozart Piano Sonata K 332
Scriabin Preludes Op 11 no.5,6,7
Bach Prelude and Fugue in G minor
