What's a good full sized keyboard?
on: March 14, 2011, 02:42:52 PM
Currently I have a Yamaha PSR-275, which isn't that great. I want to get a full sized 88-key keyboard so I can record what I play using a MIDI connection with my computer. Also, I can't play many songs because the PSR-275 only has 61 keys and the tones within the keyboard are pretty lame too. So, I ask you, what would you suggest to be a good full sized keyboard to buy? Thanks.
EDIT: I'm also looking for one that's in a good price range - say up to $1000 CAD.

Vorbate,
Try a P95. It falls within your price range and it would amaze you...

I've had my Yamaha P85 for a few years (P95 is the new model) and it's been a really good piano.

I agree. Mine is just great. Very few effects other than a good sounding piano.

The P95 you say? Hm... It looks and sounds quite nice. I might buy it, but I'm kind of trying to stay away from yamaha this time. Is there a good roland or korg keyboard within my price range? Thanks for your replies btw.

A friend has a Korg SP250 which is nice. It has really good feel and sound. I believe you can find it just a little over $1,100....
