Fingering

I'm starting to learn Mendelssohn _ Songs Without Words Op. 85, No. 1 and would like to know if there's any video of a performance in which I can get knowledge on proper fingering for the left hand.

Have you tried YouTube?  That's the usual place to go when seeking a video performances of something specific.

What score are you using?  I noticed that the first two choices at IMSLP have no fingerings at all, but the third (edited by Kullak) has a modest number of suggestions:

FWIW, the edition of Sternberg (published by G. Schirmer) has fingering suggestions as well.
What passes you ain't for you.
