It has been suggested that the recent discussion in "improvisation over a theme" be split to a new topic. I think this is a good idea. I believe the discussion begins with ongaku's improvisation, and his question about how he's doing:

I made a new topic, but maybe that's not what you meant?

Right, I meant actually taking the discussion that already took place and putting it into a topic, so it is not lost/easier to find. It could be pasted into your new topic or something, doesn't matter.

The topic has been split into two and the new topic titled "Discussion on learning improvisation" starts, as you suggested Derek, with ongaku's post.

We could either make this sticky or make pianisten1989's new topic sticky in which you could link to the new split topic as well as to various older appropriate topics/posts.

Hmm well... I just wanted to say... if you haven't decided yet which topic to make sticky... could you please rather make the new topic (How to improvise) sticky? I REALLY wouldn't want that thread with my improvisation in it to stay at the top always and forever!  :-[  :-\

Don't worry, I've already linked it in the second post, so it's all good. You will get the proper recognition you deserve :D:D

Are you making fun of me?  :-\
Well I guess it doesn't matter that much. I mean people usually only listen to the first recording in the thread anyway... so that's yours  :P I think you and your improvisation will get famous!   :D  :P
