Advice for piano course needed .
on: March 28, 2011, 03:17:21 PM
Hey I've been playing piano for quite a few years and the most difficult piece I can play is Rondo alla Turca ( Mozart ) . Unfortunately I cannot afford a teacher anymore but I realy love piano . Can you suggest me any course (books, dvd's,etc.)? I'm mostly interested in classical piano and technique .

Thanks smile and sorry for my bad english I'm from Greece.

I think that before starting with pieces like that Mozart's sonata, you should try to do some mechanic exercises. Try Hanon exercises, or Czerny op.599 and 849.

Also, you should read Introduction to the Art of Playing the Pianoforte, Op.42 by Clementi, it answers a lot of questions.

Anyway, this will never be the same as having a teacher. Trust me, it is a lot different.

Hope I was helpful!
