kawai piano k25 at $4000? Good deal?
on: March 29, 2011, 06:45:24 AM
My friend is selling her Kawai K25 at $4000.
She purchased it new in 2002.
Is the price right?  How can I find price for used piano?

Have this inspected for present mechanical condition and then market value by a local technician of your choice. Impossible to complete in this format.

If you think it's is expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur.

theirs a reference to that piano here.

Says based on the blue book value in 2005 the piano's MSRP is $6600. Assuming everything inside is on the up and up (should be unless it was abused in that short time) it seems like a standard price.
